Bridget and Derek planned to knock-down and rebuild their newly purchased Berrara home, envisioning it as a Bali-style villa. But after reflecting on how much they loved the original home, they chose to renovate it instead and add an additional 2 storey studio behind the original house.
Being empty nesters, they wanted a space fit for this exciting new phase in their lives. This transformation involved letting more light in and giving the home a modern coastal feel. With their active lifestyle in mind, we installed an outside shower to allow for an effortless wash-off from the beach.
Their renovation included a 2-storey garage with yoga studio, 2 bedrooms with a bathroom, a ‘man cave’, sun room, library room and alfresco kitchen area. We successfully delivered the project before the deadline, with the clients living in the home up until last month of the renovation.
